Duration: Within four weeks of receiving sufficient and complying evidence of competency in all applied for units of competency.
The Certificate III in Community Services provides the skills and knowledge required by entry-level community services workers who provide person-centred services. Individuals at this level typically work in community settings, where they provide day-to-day support, or in community settings where they help implement community-based programs. These individuals may be directly or indirectly supervised, and may work in a range of community-service based organisations.
You will need to provide a range of evidence to assist your assessor to make a decision about your competence. The types of evidence you may be asked to provide can include:

- Payslips/work contract/ABN if self-employed
- Letter of Employment
- Current employment contracts
- Letters of reference from licensed tradesmen you have worked with.
- Videos or photos of your work.
- Evidence of overseas qualifications.
