Duration: Within four weeks of receiving sufficient and complying evidence of competency in all applied for units of competency.
The Certificate III in Work Health and Safety is for ideal for skilled workers who, in addition to their main duties, carry Work Health and Safety (WHS) responsibilities. You may provide technical support and advice to a team and apply a variety of competencies range of work contexts.
Skills Certified makes it simple for your past education and experience to be recognised. Your student support representative will require a variety of pieces of evidence – both documents and otherwise – for the RPL process that prove your competency in the field in question. A letter of employment or current employment contract in a relevant field, as well as a résumé detailing your past experience are excellent places to start if you are currently or have worked at an equivalent level.
The RPL assessor will also accept evidence of past education from Australian and overseas institutions. An academic transcript or any assessments from related previous qualifications are welcomed, as well as any certificates or documents related to an overseas qualification.
Applicants can also submit videos or photos of their work, or can demonstrate their skills in the event they do not have sufficient official documentation.
