You may be eligible for the Cert III Plumbing qualification through RPL if you already perform plumbing work at trade level and can demonstrate your experience with strong supporting evidence.
This usually suits people who have worked across water, sanitary, drainage, roofing, or maintenance plumbing tasks over several years, as well as those who have completed part of an apprenticeship or training program and want to finish faster through recognition of prior learning.
This pathway can also suit applicants with overseas plumbing experience, provided their background can be matched against Australian competency requirements. RPL in Australia is designed to assess formal, informal and non-formal learning, so eligibility is based on what you can prove — not just what you’ve studied.
