The Certificate III in Nail Technology is required for individuals working as nail technicians who provide manicure and pedicure services. A nail technician must possess a well-developed range of skills in terms of the application of gel and acrylic nail enhancements.
Additionally, a nail technician is responsible for their own output and must exercise judgment and discretion in client consultation and the application of nail care services and products. Nail technicians may work for or own a nail care company, or be self-employed within a nail salon, managing their own stations.
If you’re already performing these services day-to-day, RPL allows you to turn that experience into a recognised qualification.
