The Certificate III Engineering – Fabrication Trade qualification covers a range of skills required by anyone wishing to be employed as an engineering tradesperson in the industries of manufacturing, engineering and associated fields. Competencies will including welding, sheet metal work, metal polishing, metal spinning, structural steel erecting, founding, forging and metal fabrication. You will also be trained to use related computer controlled equipment. This certification has been developed specifically with the needs of apprentices in the above trades in mind, and can also be achieved through the process of formal skills recognition assessment.
