In order to operate as a building practitioner in Tasmania, you must be registered by the Department of Justice.
Tasmania offers building practitioners the opportunity to register in any of the three classes, each requiring different qualifications:
Open - Advanced diploma or degree in Building and Construction Low Rise - Certificate IV in Building and Construction (CPC40110) High Rise - Diploma in Building and Construction (CPC50210)
