This Cert 3 Concreting qualification recognises the technical and practical skills required to perform concreting work in residential, commercial, and civil construction projects. It’s ideal for people already working in the field who want to formalise their trade skills, meet licensing requirements, or progress toward supervisory and contractor roles.

The Certificate III in Concreting is suited to both early-career and experienced construction professionals who wish to expand or verify their knowledge of concreting operations.

To apply through RPL for concreting certification, you’ll need:

      • Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or a full-time work visa in Australia
      • At least two years of relevant on-site experience under the supervision of a licensed builder or concreter

If you meet these criteria, your existing experience may be enough to qualify for the certification without classroom study.

Through Recognition of Prior Learning, your skills and previous qualifications are assessed against industry standards. This pathway saves time, avoids duplication, and helps concreters gain the credentials required for career progression or licensing.

Whether you’re currently employed or self-employed, RPL ensures your hard-earned expertise counts toward your Certificate 3 in Concreting.

You’ll need to supply evidence showing your competency, such as:
      • Valid ID and résumé
      • Payslips or ABN (if self-employed)
      • Letters of employment or reference
      • Photos or videos of your work
      • Drawings, plans or job cards
      • Quotes, invoices and stock orders
