Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Systems equip graduates to perform installation, commissioning and de-comissioning of single head, split heat or air conditioning pump systems according to a prescribed routine, with a maximum plant capacity not exceeding 18 kWr. The curriculum covers floor, wall hung and ceiling suspended ducted fan and cassette coil split systems as well as water heating heat pump systems. The qualification does not cover the competencies required for maintenance, service or repair, diagnostics, electrical work or installation of commercial air conditioning,heat pump or refrigeration equipment
