The Graduate Diploma of Portfolio Management provides the requirements of individuals who require advanced skills and knowledge in the arena of strategic portfolio management. At this level, the individual will use initiative and judgement and make high-level autonomous decisions. He or she will plan and implement a variety of portfolio management functions within varied contexts and be personally accountable and responsible for both their own input and that of others. Portfolio managers use creative and cognitive skills to critically analyse, review, synthesise and consolidate knowledge in order to generate solutions to a variety of complex issues. Portfolio managers demonstrate their theoretical understanding of concepts using advanced communication skills and to transfer their ideas and knowledge to other people.
