Recognition of Prior Learning assesses your existing plumbing skills and knowledge against nationally recognised competency standards.
The process begins with a free skills check, where a consultant reviews your experience across areas such as water services, drainage, roof plumbing, maintenance, or supervision. If suitable, you’ll be guided through collecting evidence such as work photos, job records, references, licences, or prior qualifications.
An assessor from one of our partner RTOs reviews your evidence to confirm competency. In most cases, no classroom study is required unless minor gaps are identified. Once approved, your plumbing certificate is issued and can be used for employment, licensing or business purposes.
