The Diploma of Competitive Systems and Practices is aimed at managers, technical specialists and individuals in job roles where they are responsibility for competitive systems and practices implementation. The qualification provides the knowledge and skills a manager or technical specialist would need to supervise and determine strategy for competitive system and practice implementation, as well as the value chain of the organisation. The qualification is aimed at developing competency by combining a variety of on- and off-the-job strategies, and is aimed at improving the efficiency of an organisation through competitive practices and systems implementation. It complements operational, logistics, production, maintenance and other technical skills required in industry and assumes prior work experience obtained at a technician or managerial level of responsibility. The qualification is not suitable to school leavers.
