The Certificate IV in Bookkeeping is designed to reflect the knowledge and skills of contract bookkeepers, and clerks who perform bookkeeping functions in a range of organisations and industries. The job role includes the preparation and lodging of instalment activity statement tasks and providing tax advice. It may extend to dealing with the Commissioner on the behalf of the taxpayer with regards to activity statements. You will apply both theoretical and specialist skills and knowledge, and will work autonomously. You will be responsible for the completion of both routine and nonroutine tasks.
