Duration: Within four weeks of receiving sufficient and complying evidence of competency in all applied for units of competency.
This qualification is suitable for individuals working in the accounting industry, including contract bookkeepers and BAS Agents, and employees who work in a bookkeeping capacity in various industries. Tasks may include lodging business statements and installment activities, and communicating with the Commissioner on behalf of taxpayers with regard to activity statements. Workers in this type of role would apply both specialist and theoretical skills and knowledge, working mostly autonomously. Activities include routine and non-routine work which will require that the individual exercises judgment.
You will need to provide a range of evidence to assist your assessor to make a decision about your competence. The types of evidence you may be asked to provide can include:
