Interpreting technical drawings, measuring and working with precision tools
Working with hand tools, power tools, welding (various processes: manual arc, MIG, gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux core), thermal cutting, forming and shaping techniques
Sheet metal fabrication and finishing, including polishing, spinning, and surface finishing
Structural steel fabrication and assembly (structural steel erection & marking off/out of structural shapes)
Operating computer-controlled fabrication machines where applicable
Applying WHS, environmental practices, quality control, and safety procedures
